Nominations have opened for the 2021 Rotary Clubs and Districts Emergency Services Community Awards.
The awards, now in their seventh year, recognise frontline emergency services personnel for efforts above and beyond the call of duty.
Emergency service personnel and volunteers from Fire and Rescue NSW, NSW Ambulance, NSW State Emergency Service, NSW Rural Fire Service, NSW Volunteer Rescue Association, Marine Rescue NSW, and Surf Life Saving NSW are all eligible to be nominated.
The NSW government expects there to be a high standard of nominees after a year that’s reminded us of the importance of our frontline workers, and we’re all being encouraged to recognise our local heroes by nominating them for an award.
Nominations will close on Sunday, 9 May 2021, with the finalists to be announced on Wednesday, 16 June 2021.
